You will discover the village of Servoz at an altitude of 816 metres, the first village in the Chamonix valley, with a 360° panoramic view of the Mont-Blanc massif, Pormenaz, the Fiz and Aravis chains of mountains, the Tête Noire and the Prarion. An authentic and traditional mountain village where pastoral activities and tourism are linked and where the sunny hamlets display all their charms, the 900 hundred permanent inhabitants welcome visitors all year round. Maison d'Alpage The village has plenty to do and explore. In the heart of the village is the Maison de l'alpage, which has always has fantastic exhibitions on local sites of interest. Servoz also boasts an art gallery, craft workshops and two restaurants. The village has a protected natural site of the Diosaz gorges. You can take a walk up the gorges and have staggering views of the surrounding scenery. The area surrounding Servoz is staggering and at any time of the year well marked footpaths and trails can be found allowing you to explore! With the first fall of snow, the trails can be followed using snowshoes. Foire aux Moutons The village holds a wide variety of annual events such as the Christmas outdoor market, the craft fairs, local heritage days, the chirv'athlon, the sheep fair (Foire aux moutons) and the famous cow combats.
