The living accommodation has been nicely furnished and is a very comfortable and welcoming after a day in the mountains.

The Bellevue cable car is a two minute walk from the apartment, as is the bus stop for free shuttle bus serving Chamonix and other surrounding ski areas. The famous men’s downhill The Kandahar runs behind the apartment and from here you can ski to the apartment.

The property has secure underground parking, which is accessed by lift and there is also a ski locker for your use.

Les Houches has a good variety of restaurants all in walking distance of the apartment. La Ferme des Agapes and the Hotel Slalom are the closest and they offer traditional Savoyard dishes as well as pasta, meat and fish dishes in a very friendly atmosphere. The brassarde (table barbecue) is a particular favorite and should not be missed. Le Delice is a modern restaurant which must be tried. Under the management of Katie the food is excellent and small children eat free
